Yes, their latest CEO Update - back to being written using WordPress as usual - lists a number of vacancies for various positions, but mainly for “rocket scientists” (you’ll need to click through to see this). And better still, they’re offering a bounty for people getting developers to fill those positions. Smacks of desperation to me…
It seems they’ve realised they haven’t got a clue and need to hire some “brilliant” developers - presumably this might augment the team rather than replacing people who aren’t “brilliant” - and I expect this may have come about from Labatt making promises about the product that his developers can’t deliver? I could be wrong of course.
Interesting is his description of ezboard as “a re-starting start-up”. Maybe they found some loose change down the back of a sofa?

Hi Richard,
I’d be interested in talking with you about what we are doing at ezboard and Yuku. Your opinion of what we are doing is interesting and I am sure that, given the opportuniity to talk with your directly, you will have a better understanding of what we are doing to deliver a better message board experience.
I am OK if you don’t want to talk with me, but I thought I’d reach out here to offer you the opportunity.

Hi Rob,
Feel free to put across ezboard’s view on what’s happening and what you’re doing with Yuku; I’m sure any readers would benefit from this.
I know I would as it doesn’t seem clear to me which direction you’re moving towards with Yuku.

Actually, I’ve just re-read your comment: it looks like you’re suggesting a one-to-one dialogue (by ‘phone or in person)?
I’m not sure that’s do-able given the time difference and I doubt ezboard, Inc. would fly me out to San Francisco for a meeting (I wouldn’t say no…).
So feel free to e-mail me - reply here and I’ll send you an e-mail with a direct e-mail address - or comment on the entries here and we can intiate a dialogue that way.
